got a 350 chevy that does not have the 2 rubber hoses that connect from the valve coveres to the flame arrestor on the carb.. I do have vented oil caps on both valve covers. is this a problem?

Re: crankcase ventilation

Sounds a little messy to me. Lots of oil and goop in the breather air. If it soaks any nearby foam you might end up with a fire hazard.

hello
it will cause a problem if someone inspects it. other than that it will make a mess. like airman said that oily goo may be a fire hazard. I would put it back together like the factory had it.
good luck and keep posting
