cranking problems

Had my engine rebuilt. Had bad kill switch and replaced it. Now after i replaced the kill switch, as soon as i turn the key on, it tries to crank. I am not even turning the ignition. I checked the wiring diagram and everything looks right. HELP!!

Did you check the ignition sw?

Sounds like the starter circuit is connected to the ignition circuit...either by wrong connection at the switch or crossed wire.

Volvo penta 5.0 GL PWTR--- how do I fix if that is the problem?

I checked the wiring diagram and everything looks right.

Ayuh,... Obviously, it's Not...

Go back over whatever you did,+ Find the Problem....
