Crankshaft issue

Due to a failed VRO2 pump number 2 cylinder overheated and scored the cylinder. The cylinder can be bored, but I am now concerned about the crankshaft. It shows a slight blueish color on the rod journals. Is this somethiung that can be corrected (ground or polished), or is the crankshaft now junk?

Steve, a faulty VRO pump will not affect only one cylinder. If the other cylinders are unaffected, suspect the carb is clogged.

I just rebuilt the carbs. How can I check if a cylinder is receiving fuel/oil?
