Does anyone here know how the heck to get this pulley off? (see pics)
I'm trying to remove the crankshaft and am at a standstill.
Thanks

this is specifically covered in the service manual.

Indeed, the manual does cover this however it isn't specific. It simply states, "Remove the centre screw and pull off the carrier and outer guide plate from the crankshaft." I pulled out the center screw as seen in my pics, but the rest of the assembly is completely stuck.

The factory manual indicates which two tools to use. Are you sure you are looking at the factory Volvo Penta manual

That was something I found odd. On most of the instructions per the manual it will indicate which tool/s to use for each job. For this particular section it does not however.

I don't have your service manual, and I certainly recommend that you follow that if it provides any type of instruction, but to the average Joe like me - it seems like a gear puller with some type of washer/plug to fill in the center of the shaft would work.

The washer/plug is to provide something for the gear puller to leverage on.

there is a crank-shaft locking tool and there is a pulley removal tool. However the puller is a variation of the 3-jaw above.
