Won't fit in my entertainment center. Besides, it would actually be too big!

Gotta have the right room for it, thats for sure. I watched most of the Avengers movie on one, and the picture was amazing. Not as good as the Rosegold 9000 series Samsung......but close.

Is that the new one that uses the Pioneer technology that Sharp bought?

The 90" is standard Sharp LED. Its only the 7 series panel. Still pricey @ 9k.

The Elite TVs are almost a brand on thier own. They are built by Sharp, but you will only find the Elite namesake they bought from Pioneer on them. The Kuro and the Elite Plasmas that Pioneer made in my opinion were the best TVs that money could buy. I wish they still made them, but since Sharp has a controlling share of Pioneer now, this is the closest thing on the market. I am pretty sure the Elites only come in 60" or 70" which is about 8k. The technology is so different that I am not sure much is the same besides the name "Elite". Probably the best black levels you can get on an LED though....

I agree, I have a friend who has 2 of them in her house.

I heard one review where with no signal, you basically couldn't tell if the TV was off or on. A lot different that a normal LED/LCD TV.
