This is Blah blah stuff
I have a vacation rental and need to be able to accept CC and direct ACH transfers. Have a paypal account but just had my first, and they sent the funds as Goods. Sending as goods it put the funds on a 21 day hold. I called paypal and they changed to services, but then want me to select the services have been rendered. I'm a guy that doesn't do things that I haven't done.

I rent the home and if someone agrees to rent moeny is sent right then. The cancellation policy is 60 days before arrival it can be cancelled, after that only half the money, and less then 30 days nothing except cleaning fee and security deposit.

Has anyone used the paypal, quicken, others and which ones works best, and if you can, what are the down sides

I have been using paypal for almost 20 years

use paypal and have them send it as "money to friends and family"

the money is there instantly.

We have used paypal for our business for over 20 years, what I would suggest is anytime you rent your place send the client a paypal invoice that way you can make the choice on what it is goods, services or merchandise and get away from that hold BS. A rental is services and not goods, but if you need to upgrade your paypal to a business account, then it will give you the option to send your invoice through paypal.

Thanks, most do use paypal which makes it easy for most. I did send an invoice and guess I'll just tell the folks sending that it has to be sent friends and family or I won't accept.

I'm on vrbo and did set it up with bnb but they wouldn't let me set it up the way I want to so I cancelled them. My area uses vrbo more then any other. I also have it on FB
