Crestliner 24' speedometer

I just purchased a 24' 2001 Crestliner pontoon boat. The speedometer does not work. I tried making sure the pitot tube is clear but I don't know if I succeeded. Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot? Thanks!

Pull the head and put a short piece tubing on it so you can see the dial as you blow really hard to see if needel reacts.<br /><br />If it does make sure the pickup hole is clear if it is replace the tubeing that is fairly inexpensive.<br /><br />If you have more questions do a search it will turn up all you wanted to know and then some
