Hey guys... as soon as I repair my transon, I want to make a custom ski pylon. Has anyone done this? I can't find anyone who makes a kit for a 79 VIP bass boat... I am thinking about having a welder come up with the pylon and weld mounting brackets to the boat. I know it will have to be tall enough to where I can access my compartments and so that my motor can come up and down. I was thinking about going 4' up and across the back end of the boat, mounting to the topshell... Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated.
