Cut right through the hull....

Ok, in my haste to remove the floor, i screwed up and went right through the hull for about 2 feet.. Now how do I fix that.....:'(

I did the same thing:'(. I am going to grind a depression to accept glass and epoxy 3-4 layers increasing in size to fill and reinforce. I will put some plastic and backing on the outside of the hull to hold the epoxy in place and fair the outside later. I am going to do a fair amount of fairing of the hull anyway and then repaint.
If this is not the correct way to fix such a cut, let me know.

Yup, just remember if your using epoxy you can't paint or gel right over it.

From how easy it happened to me, I really wonder how many people have done the same thing but are too embarrassed to admit it, and ask for advise?
