A very pain full day, just got the engine to run and then it would not start had my son pull the plugs and found them soaked in fuel. cleaned them and dried them and my son cross threaded the #4 cylinder plug threads. I have a good idea, head change I am just hoping that maybe since the last time I worked on a two stroke engine that someone has come up with a thread insert for these type of problems, are there any inserts to repair the threads or is it a head change?

Question two where in the heck can I find a cylinder head for this engine?

I have some, look near the top for small part numbers stamped inside a small circle. They should be a matched pair, so you need the same part # or a set.

Most salvage yards will have some used ones on hand:
sea-way.com
outboard-parts.com
laingsoutboards.com
tcoutboard.com
fairwindsmarina.com
salvagemarine.com
