D3 coolant

Good evening from Malta,
my new D3-130 engines got their first inspection and we had filled the system with Vulsay Ontario CND Flo Perm Universal Antifreeze & Summer Coolant SCA (Ethylene Glycol) charged.
The inspecting mechanic said, "that's wrong your engines will overheat unless you use Volvo Coolant".
Does he has a point, or does he want to sell Volvo Coolant?

I am not aware of any "Volvo coolant only" engines, nor do I know your particular type of antifreeze.
Since these are new engines, I would contact Volvo customer service (Not your dealer) and explain the situation.
You should have received a packet of paperwork and manuals with warranty information and phone numbers.
