I love this place. Both Burton's were/are always tough here. #31 starting 10th. Gonna miss Nationwide. Flying today.

I'm not exactly sure, but I don't think Rusty has a team anymore. Tough times. Tough to get sponsors. Heck, even look at Trevor Bayne. He doesn't have a full time ride and he won Daytona last year. He seemed to be up and coming... Getting full time sponsorship is tough unless you're one of the top drivers...... Even then you have sponsors other than their main one picking up a race or two.

I see a Mod(QC) started a thread with my name attach to it! Say what! Back atchya. Pretty good race. Seemed to go by really quick. Too quick! Sadler took it in the rear at the end while leading, literally. Logano got a little too antsy on the restart.

Sure hope you're right about Burton, QC. Sure would like to see him in the winners circle again. Last time he was there, I missed the race!:facepalm:

Actually he just moved your reply to a new thread (instead of hijacking the Dega thread) and put a title of his choice on it. Probably would have been better had he sent you a PM to explain what he did. :facepalm:

Danica is 10th in points, so far. Not too bad for her first full season.
Already set a reminder on the tv for tonites race. Should be a goodin'..........

I loved that place, Darlington. One of the best races I ever attended was at the "Lady in Black" where Earnhardt and Wallace battled almost the whole race. Dale would lead thru turn 1 and 2....Rusty thru 3 and 4. Camping on the backstreatch near the ponds kept us busy. When not watching the races we were fishing. That all has changed.........but not the racing. I like many of the drivers, but tonight I'm rooting for Dale Jr.


I like the night races. I don't feel guilty for not doing something productive......or even unproductive.

Agree, but I was in a hurry, plane was boarding, and I was yankin' his chain too. Can you really hijack your own thread? But like I said, we need to keep up with those NFL and Hockey threads
