Do you have pix of the installation process?

The process is essentially Ironing it on... covering a flat surface, a household iron with a towel to prevent scratching the film works well. For compound curves a heat gun and wear gloves so you can stretch the covering material.

Its a self adhesive film that heat shrinks and the glue is heat activated. Variations in these films will have some being tacky without heat and some not sticking at all until heat is applied.

I've used a lot of different films, but not the 3M. Techniques are basically the same for all of them. Different heat needed for different films.

Every defect in the surface you are covering tends to get magnified by the films...

Hi there,
Nope, no ironing used there. A heat gun worked good. A hair dryer could do too. On flat surfaces no problem though.
The price of the film: roughly 50 bucks for 1 square meter.
