Hi
I have been looking for sea foam here in Thunder Bay Ontario for the last couple of weeks and cannot find it .... no one has heard of it.
I was wondering if anyone knows of or can recomend a product like it that is sold in major retail stores ie. Canadian Tire
The local shops all say they have fuel additives etc. but motor has to be torn down to be cleaned.
I am looking to clean a 1950 evenrude 2 hp that is running ok but decarboning is long overdue

Thanks for all of the great info

Thanks

Rob

Bombardier has a product called Engine Tuner and Mercury has one called Power Tune. They both work well as a decarbonizer.

Unfortunatly the Sea Foam products are not availavble in Canada. I tried to get some earlier this year and contacted the Sea Foam people to get the address of a local distributer. But, as Papasmurf stated, any 2 cycle decarb product will work fine.

I know that is not very common practice, but if you take a spraycan with water and spray it into the carb opening while the engine is running,it will do a terrific decarbing job.
