Tampa airport has 5 inches in the last 24 hours. We got another at least 5 today and its going to come ashore north of us not till Tuesday. Its not all FL. But certain areas are getting hammered. Not real bad winds just rain and more rain, I am North of Tampa 30 miles. Tornado watch till 5 pm Monday. This area I am in can take a lot of water. Not good in South Tampa or areas of St Pete.

Things have calmed down quite a bit here in Apalachicola. The bridge to St George Island is still closed and power to the island still out. What a slogfest!

It's been raining here (about 30 minutes north of Orlando) nonstop since yesterday morning and we're under a tornado watch until at least 2pm today. Weatherman says to expect the rain to be around until Wednesday. Boooooo :(

You guys in Florida have all the luck !! Real rain !!
In Texas we are praying for rain and some are even doing Indian Rain Dances !
I watched Debbie from the beginning with hopes she would come just South of the high-pressure lines into Texas.
She did not -- so -- Wishing you all the best of luck ,, no damages and no lost lives -- Do Take Care !!

We are supposed to 10+ inches in a 24 hr period here in SE Ga from dear ole Debbie. Started yesterday and still going.

Hey Richard, hope it all works out for you, stay dry, as best you can.

Send her my way. We're about 7 inches of rain below average for the year and just completed the driest 12 month period since they've been keeping records.

My parents said at Redington Beach it was blowing pretty hard. I am in Spring Hill, no big deal today. Just some wind and rain. This is not a bad storm, just a pain.

I'm in North Central FL, poured all night and all day today. Fillin' up them lakes for my boating pleasure, we actually need this...

Second TS in 4 weeks to hit us and dump 10+ inches within a few days, other places received much more. I had 5 over night last night and another 1 today, surprisied it was so low here, but just west of me Gainesville areas are getting hit hard.

I just mowed the lawn tonight in the rain (St. Petersburg). If I waited, I would never be able to get the mower through it.
Branches and leaves everywhere...

This just came to my inbox:

Slow Moving Debby Projected to Dump 15+ Inches Of Rain

Primary threats from Debby are inland flooding, moderate beach erosion, and isolated tornadoes. Debby is expected to drift in the Gulf before making landfall Wednesday, heading to Atlantic waters. If the weakened storm reforms off the Florida Atlantic coast, the greatest severe weather threat will shift to South Florida.

Here are the latest Weather Alerts:

Tropical Storm Warnings are posted around the Gulf bend to Destin.

A Tornado Watch is in effect through 11pm tonight (Monday) across all North Florida counties, meaning the conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms that could produce tornadoes. You should be alert for warnings, indicating tornadoes have formed.

River Flood Warnings have been issued through the end of the week for the Santa Fe at Ft. White, the Withlacoochee at Dunnellon and Holder, and the Suwanee at White Springs.

Re: Debbie go away

Just think of it as mother natures enema to purge and clean everything.

This time of year if y'all weren't having rain you'd have wild fires and smoke, which would you rather have?

I've been hoping Miss Debby would come visit us here in central 'Bama, she'd be more than welcome to stick around for a while in these parts.

Re: Debbie go away

Reminds me so much of tropical storm Fay back in '08. What a mess that lingering thing left. You can still see flooding and water damage from it here.
