I have the shraeder valve on my fuel primer. Is the BRP engine tuner for decarbing or just a fuel system treatment? I wouldn't mind doing a decarb on my motor....... 175 1995 evinrude intruder. Its not had one since i've had it, probably about time, or is it really necessary at all?

Re: Decarb question?

It is recommended that a decarb is done annually. Bombardier has evidently implemented some cost savings ideas, as the aerosol engine tuner is now sold with the small, stiff plastic tube only. If you want the flexible hose that connects to the schrader valve, bombardier now sells that hose separately for a couple of $ under a different part number. Running their XD50 oil is also good idea, as it has the carbon guard additive premixed in the oil.
