would like to know how to decarb 85 120 v4 m#e120tlco s#g1025374 is this easy to do and is this eng. a crossover thank you. :cool:

Hi, Mo-Jo.<br /><br />Any decarbonizing product you buy will give detailed instructions. <br /><br />The decarb articles in the Engine FAQ section offer detailed advice.<br /><br />Cross-over? I think you mean cross flow. I don't know about your specific engine, but someone will be here soon who does.<br /><br />Good luck. :)

Mo-jo....easy to decarb. Look at the primer solenoid and see if the red handle is equipped with a maint. valve. If it is, it will look like a tire valve with cap. Get a can of decarb that has the screw on attachment for the maint. valve. (a Johnny/Rude dealer can help you with the maint. valve and decarb) Follow the instructions on the can. Basically, you run the engine until up to temp. and inject the decarb into the carbs until the can is used up. Let the engine set per instructions on the can and then restart.<br /><br />Your engine is a Looper.
