decarboning a motor

i thought i seen a method of decarbonjng a motor a while back but cant seem to find it now, i have a 1963 omc gale 40 hp motor i would like to try it on,can this be done in a barrel or do you have to be on the lake.

i need to do the same thing. there are a million threads on seafoam. im going to try it as everyone swears by it. search for it here

I work for a murcury marine dealership and we use power tune to decorbon engines. It can be done in a tank or on a hose.

Yes it can, but check your surroundings first. You are going to put up a major plume of smoke and really trash that barrel. If your neighbors are picky or nosy, well, proceed at your own risk.
