hi, i recently bought an 82' bayliner capri, i think its a 1950 model??
i knew it needed some int. work so, i started tearing into it as soon as i got it. so far i found that the work that it needs, kept adding up. everything is wet under deck.
it is my first time working on a boat but think i can do it all myself. i have most of the deck cut out(used cutting wheel on grinder) but my progress slowed when i got to the parts under the dash. will i need to put some kinda temp. supports to help hold there weight when i cut below them??
also near the back of the boat, where the seat framings are next to the motor. does anyone have any tips on to how to remove that section of the deck and apart from the transom. (transom seems pretty solid).
