My boat is locked up tight all week and very humid when we arrive for the weekend. I don't want to leave the A/C running when I'm not there. Anyone using a dehumidifier?

If you are talking about something from say Lowes, we run one while on the boat along with the air conditioner. It makes it a lot more comfortable for sure and it doesn't take much run time to make a difference (hour or two). I like it because you don't have to freeze the place out to get rid of the humidity. However we fill the bucket every day. You'll have to find a way to drain it into a sink or shower. Many of them have the ability to run a hose out of them. I will warn you they aren't that small and are somewhat loud. Comfort is worth it though.

Yes. Something along the lines of what we have in our basement at home, but maybe not as big. I'm wondering what size i would need. No problem with draining water.

I think we have a 30 or 45 pint. It's smaller on the size range, but it works fine for the boat.
