delco starter assembly

can someone help me with this? my starter is acting wierd so i cleaned it out and i now dont know how to put it together. . . well i got it 99% if someone can just tell me where this little collar goes i will be good.

Dude,generaly the collar keeps the circlip on the end of the starter,near the drive.But it is hard to say without the picture.<br /><br />DHP

eh its ok, starter was shorted and i have to buy a new one for damn near 175 dollars. yes the engine is in the final stages of its rebuild. working out a few kinks (water in oil) and should be good fishin from here on out.
