Looking strongly at Hummingbird Matrix 12 that indicates it's 'GPS Ready.' What GPS instrument/source can be hooked-up to this unit? Also, it talks about a transom mounted unit....I thought that a internal transducerl was ok? I've selected this unit, not because I'm a fisherman, but due to it's features including, Depth, Speed, GPS, waypoints, etc. Do you have something better at this price point. West Marine is no longer selling it. Wonder Why? Please share your thoughts/inputs. Thanks.
