Depth sounder on a seadoo speedster

It is a 2004 Seadoo Speedster, 160 240 horse merc (jet drive). Does any body know the best placed to mount a transduecer on this seadoo. I have a threw hull or transum mount. what location can I use the threw hull mount or should I go with a transum mount. If a transum mount is best what location should I use. If I use threw hull is it very reliable i.e. leaks. The boat shop keeps telling me that they dont like any location on the transum or threw hull. I want temp so glue to inside of hull wont work.
