I need to replace my lowrance 3500. It's a small round panel mount gauge with an in hull type transducer. It's 10 yr old technology and from what I've been reading it's seems like the in hull transducers have been a problem. What I would like to know is do I go with is a transome type transducer or another in hull type. Also what brand of gauge.
