Im struggling here. I have a 4.3l 430A 1992, I put it on the lake and she runs like a raped ape for about 10 minutes, then It starts to loose power and die, all within about 5 sec this happens. I start it back up and take off again and within about a min it will do the same thing. I was trying to get back to the launch and as im heading back its progressively getting worse. Each time it dies it gets harder to start back up. This has been the same issue the last 3 times I have had it out. I replaced the Fuel pump, filter, fuel lines, plugs, wires, rotor ,cap, coil, thermostat, impeller, completely cleaned and disassembled the carb, checked the fuel tank vent , checked the pick up tube in the tank, new fuel, checked the anti siphon line and tested the emergency kill switch. All this and still dies off on me. The temp reads 140 degs and when feeling the motor, everything feels luke warm like normal running temp. Its almost like the some thing it cutting off the fuel, and its seems to be about the same amount of running time when I first get it out before this starts happening.
Im totally stumped and having a hard time even looking at this thing anymore. Was hoping to finally be able to spend time with the family on the water, and enjoy the 1st free weekend off work in 6 months. Want to give up and just take it in and pay the price and have someone else look at it but everyone around here is backed up 3 weeks .
I just don't know what to do anymore. I normally in the past put close to 80 hrs on my boats a yr , so you know not being able to enjoy my boat time is totally killing me.
Please any help would be awesome and GREATLY APPRECIATED.
Thanks for the Help Shawn

Try running it slow, 1500 RPM or even idle, and see if it runs longer. Sure sounds like fuel..if the motor had a lot of hours or was not winterized good, it could have leaky pistons, which fill the crankcase with burned fuel which then goes back into the air intake, faster you go, the more the air is contaminated , have you had to reattach the crankcase tube after each run?

If they don't fix this forum software, I;m going fishing somewhere else!

Try it on a separate portable fuel tank, (maybe an outboard tank) and make sure it's vented so the flow is not impeded. That should verify it's getting a good fuel flow!
Next, check your fuel tank vent,(sometimes bugs get in , and block it) maybe take the fuel cap off when running, to see if it makes a difference?

This boat has very little hours on it. I had bought this back in april and found after the fact that it sat for four yrs indoors. If I would have known this I would have prob not bought this thing. But I have no choice to do what I can and deal with the hand I was given.
I have not noticed the crack case tube, I have ran it at lower rpms, usually it wont die, it has died on me though at lower rpms. I did check the tank vent, but thinking about it I only checked the line from the tank out, I didn't check the elbow fitting going into the tank. Hooking up an external tank I will have to try. Will have to rig one up safe enough to run on the lake, cuz it only causes me headaches while under load on the lake, I have no issues while hooked up to the muffs. I don't test much on the muffs, to many mixed results doing that, so needless to say its going to get expensive testing it on the lake with $7 launch fees.
Some good stuff for me to check and try out. Thank you for the help.

I consider myself an above average mechanic. It took me 4 tries to rebuilb a solex and find ALL the tiny blocked passages. Do it again.

Check the coil? Possible it's overheating?
Start it and let it idle.
Reach back and touch it if it's too hot to touch and keep your fingers on.
It need to be replaced.
Check the voltage in to the coil. Should be 9v
