Hello,

I have a 3 blade prop that has a long number on it..with at least one hyphen in the number. Is this a part number? The very end of the number is 21p which is assume is the pitch of my prop. How can I find out what size etc.?

Thanks,

Adam

Yes the 21p is the pitch, you can measure from the center of the shaft hole out to the tip of one of the blades and double that to give you the diameter or you can go to this site and try to match up the number Prop Site

Adam,

Different prop mfgrs use different number formats.

It is OK to assume that "21p" is a 21" pitch but prop design involves much more than just the pitch number.

You need the full number to ID it properly and we need full info on motor, boat, rpm @ wot and all details if at any point you need advice.
