Diameter and pitch increase ?

Hello all,
I have a question that’s probably been asked a thousand times but I’m having difficulty finding the info I need.
I have a 18.5’ CC SeaPro skiff style boat with a Johnson Bomadier 90HP saltwater edition running an aluminum prop OEM 177131 14x17. I have no idea what the boat will weigh but it’s heavy. I bought the boat two years ago used and have been displeased with it ever since. Once you get on plane and start to trim it up, it porpoises really bad so you had to keep it trimmed down, speed was terrible and if the water was choppy it would beat your teeth out. This week I installed some Bennet self leveling trim tabs, took it out today and it made all the difference in the world, I can actually trim it up and the porpoiseing is gone and riding in a chop is smooth. I started across the lake with a little chop on the water, boat planed out quick, started trimming the motor up, boat was picking up speed, riding and driving better than it ever has and I looked at the RPMs and it was taching between 6500-7000. I started trimming back down, that didn’t decrease RPMs so I backed the throttle off between 5000-5500. I cannot get to WOT, maybe 50% throttle, gps top speed was 32-33mph. The prop is aluminum, it’s got some dings and dents , not much of a cup. When turning sharp, the boat loses traction, I can’t decide if it’s the boat or prop blowout.
What direction do I need to go in? Increase diameter and pitch or just pitch? ?? Thanks for any help.

Well, perhaps the engine is mounted too high on the transom. Maybe the new trim tabs you mounted are causing a disruption in the flow of the water to the prop causing ventilation. Maybe your tach is not accurate.
"It has some Dings and Dents" Well I have heard other people say the same thing, but in reality the prop was shot.

Your 90hp, is it a 3 or 4 cylinder?

I feel pretty confident the tach is right. Before the trim tab install I could never get enough throttle or speed. When the boat is on plane, the cavitation plate is under water, I was thinking the motor is low enough.

Can you provide some 'good'(properly exposed, in focus, taken from the side and behind the boat, at the height of the bottom of the boat hull. camera level, not pointing upwards or downwards. Taken with the approx equivalent of a 50mm lens) photos?
