Hey guys,

Bought a 2006 bayliner 175 inboard 2 days ago( my first boat), it had been dewinterized or whatever because he was selling it. I drove it home about 3 hours in the rain and parked it. It got a little colder than it was supposed to last night ( around 27 for the low and maybe stayed below freezing at the most 6 hours, probably less. Does anyone know if I could have damage in that amount of time and if so how much, it's up in the high 40s today and not supposed to get as cold tonight

Thanks

I'm not a mechanic, but I have been told unless it stays below freezing for more than 24 hours you are safe.

Welcome to iboats

For future reference it is easy to drain the system. Yes just drain the system and the block because air will not freeze. No need for anti-freeze and then entire operation is less than 20 minutes. ;)
