Both are 35.6 cube powerheads, but the primary difference comes in the compression ratio. The 25hp had a 5:1 ratio, and the 30 ran a 6:1 ratio. They achieved this with changes to the cylinder head and piston domes... Might have been some mild porting changes, too. Other than that, they are quite similar.
