difference in 40 hp omc's

Hi guys.<br />Is there any mechanical difference(s) in a 1990, 1991, or 1992, Evinrude 40hp tiller long electric.<br />What about from Evinrude to Johnson?<br /><br />I picked up a motor at auction, and was hoping to use the OMC/Johnson factory manual that I already have.<br /><br />I almost got 2 boats, 4 motors, and a boat full of "stuff", but some guy wanted only one of the boats, so they sold everything individually.

Ahoy, Roscoe.<br /><br />The differences in those engines will be minor, that includes Johnny to Rude as well.<br /><br />I would use the same manual for all three without conceren.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB

Thanks JB.<br />I plan on going over the small items in the next couple weeks. Then do an ops check when the weather warms up. Don't know what I'll do with it, as I am running out of boats. Maybe I'll start a museum.
