will the parts off of a 78 bolt up to a 77 block without any problems. i was in need of block for my 78 and found a 77 block with the crank and pistons still in it. it had a burnt piston and he is going to sell it to me for 200 plus shipping. what do you think will it all work togrther?<br /><br />thanks

It is the same as your 78 except the bolt pattern on the bottom - unless the 77 was from a 25" motor. Then the bolt pattern would be the same. 2 bolts on each side were in slightly different places.<br /><br />Why not just put the 200 towards the right parts? Especially if the guy sells you a 73 instead of a 77. They look the same but are totally different.<br /><br />Be careful!
