dinged a rock

I dinged a rock with my SS VP duo prop. It put a small bend or flare at the tip of the larger prop about 1" long by 3/16" wide and bent in about 3/32" at the center and outside edge (sorry hard to explain). I did not loose any material so I would think it is out of balance? I do not feel any vibration at any speed. Do you think I can run the boat for the rest of the summer (short trips to islands about 3 miles and on the hook for most of the day) with out doing any more damage or should i get it fix now. I would probably have to pull the boat to fix because at full trim the props are still under water.

Thanks for any help

Re: dinged a rock

You should be ok but I sure would hate to damage a duo prop gear case.
I don't know how involved duoprop removal is but would think working under water wouldn't be a problem.
If you remove the prop you can likely straighten the bend with a wood block and a hammer used carefully.
Perhaps if you put a couple of people on the bow the prop would be a out of water.
