Yesterday while boating on the Mississippi, I hit something submerged in about 3 feet of water. It felt pretty substantial and hard (rock/concrete rather than wood) although my charts show no wing dams or submerged wrecks in the area. Fortunately, I was only at idle speed when we struck it.
One of the blades of my aluminum prop has a bit of material missing from the tip:


No damage to the skeg or any part of the outdrive.
I'm just wondering if this is enough to cause any problems in the long run. The boat seemed to run fine afterwards, but I just want to be sure...
