Does anyone have directions or specs on setting the carbs up on a 1997 mariner 175
Not sure what your real question is but I'll hazard a guess that your talking about the idle screws. If I'm right, set them at 1-1/2 turns and put the plastic caps back on them. With those on you can only adjust slightly. The old method was to turn them out until it runs rough and the back in until is runs rough and counting the turns. Then divide the turns by two and add 1/2 turn out. Merc now say's to set them to 1-1/2 and leave them there.
If you do a lot of trolling you can lean them up a bit but do not exceed the limits of the plastic caps.
