Both of my display panels on my used Powerquest are in pretty bad shape. Both panels are aluminum with a vinyl type coating that has begun to separate from the aluminum. Over the winter I would like to strip down this vinyl and then go with some type of finish other than the vinyl. I am open to any suggestions. They are now white with some fancy striping along with the Powerquest logo which I know I will not be able to duplicate.

Re: Display Panels

When I redid my aluminum panels I sanded them down good and primed them with an etching primer for aluminum in a rattle can. Then I used a rustoleum paint in a rattle can. It was called "hammered". I used black because that was right for me but the "hammered" paint comes in a few more colors. I was very surprised at how nice the finish turned out. Just a little pebbly sort of like a vinyl might look. Very easy and not expensive to do. Time will tell but after two years it still looks nice.
