displaying pictures with Windows XP

Hey guys;

I have Windows XP on my computer, and sometimes when I click on a thumbnail to display it, it loads at the bottom of the screen and I can only see the top half----
that ever happen to any of you, and any ideas about to overcome this?

Where is it that you are 'clicking' on thumbnails to display? Are they opening in partial windows? Can you click and drag the display screen to full open?

Well, I click on the middle of the thumbnail------I`ve tried to click and drag, but to no avail-----maybe this is a Vista thing?
