I have a 17ft Cape Craft c/c with a 90tldi tohatsu. I have a alum. 13pitch prop, wot is around 6000rpm, hole shot is great but i only get 32mph. Can i go to a 15pitch s/s prop and increase speed.
What years are boat and motor?
Calculation indicate you have about 23% slip.Is the prop old and tired looking?
If we could get the slip to about 10% speed could be about 37.
Is the anti vent plate(just above the prop) about even with the bottom of the transom?
Is the bottom clean and smooth?Do you have a hydrofoil/whaletale on the motor?
Your rpm is a little high but I feel a new same pitch prop should bring it closer to 5800,
