Just switched props and new 4 blade was hitting the anode so I took it off. I have power steering, freshwater only, and trailered every night. Do I even need one?
You need the zinc sacrificial anode trim tab for corrosion even if you don't need it to trim the motor for torque steer. Grind off just enough to clear your prop and re-install it. No problem, no big deal. Good Luck!
as mentioned you can grind off ( with a mask, or cut with Hack Saw, Or purchase a FLAT Tab and they make Performance Tabs that are set a little more aft of the prop.
