I have a 18 foot charger bass boat with a 150 2 stroke, 23 pitch three blade SS prop. At WOT the gps says im doing 52.5 mph but my RPM is 6200 which is to high im told it should be around 5500. Is there any thing i can do to drop my rpms and gain speed or at least keep the speed i have.

thanks

Make sure you don't overprop if this rpm and speed is empty, loaded it may pull the rpm down to 5500 and be fine. It is better to underprop than overprop unless you only use the boat empty...like a speed boat.

What brand of SS prop?
