Do I need two batteries?

My boat has hookups for two batteries.
It has a disconnect switch 1, 2, or both
I don't take it in the ocean
I only have one right now do I need two

You don't NEED two but especially since you already have the hookups and everything I would run two. Make one a starting battery and the other a deep cycle. You'll switch and run all your accessories (stereo, fishfinder, etc) off the deep cycle while you're parked so you don't have to worry about being able to get restarted when it's time to go home.

All ways nice to have if you need it. It's one of those things that you don't need till you need it. If your going to run radio, fish finder and a bunch of other things thin i would say yes you need two. If all your doing is starting your boat thin i would say no.
