Do I now have a 130 or 140?

I tried to find the previous posts about the difference between the 130 and 140 Merc 3.0s but came up short.

What makes a 130 a 130 and a 140 a 140?

If the cubic inch is the same for both engines then it is probably the size of the fuel injection nozzles, the 140 is probably getting more fuel and has a different exhaust.

Ayuh,.........

I think it has more to do with the Timing,.......
As in the Time it was Sold..... It's in the Marketing.....

A 3.0l will produce about 140hp,.......
The difference between 130hp,+ 140hp would Never even be Noticed.........
