Do-It-Yourself Winterizing Flush Kit ?

I saw browsing through website part section and found this "Do-It-Yourself Winterizing Flush Kit" .Looks very easy to winterize.
So is this process ok to winterize or should i open the drain plug and drain water out.Which1 is preferable.let me know.thank you

There is no substitute for draining. After that, adding AF is optional.

there should be a sticky up currently covering this issue. Nobody has reported that they used this method and had a cracked block but I promise you that does not mean that nobody who has used this method has had a cracked block. It just means nobody will admit it.

Trust me, there have been people on this forum in the past few years that used that method and DID loose and engine. Happens all the time.

I've been doing it that way for years, but I do drain the block before sucking the antifreeze in.

At any rate, if you chose to use this method, save your 67 bucks. I use a short piece of garden hose with the muffs on one end and a big funnel on the other end and simply pour the antifreeze in from a 5 gallon bucket.
