In your area, do you have to pay for sanitary waste pump-out?

In my area, most marina's will pump-out your boat for free, if you dock there.

Over on Fire Island and in "The Hamptons", where the resort areas are, almost all offer free pump-out.

Around here, the local municipalities would rather pick up the costs rather that have boat operators just dumping their waste overboard.

How does it work where you do your boating?

Most marinas offer free pump out around here. Of course with older boats it's not required ;)
