Slick 50 was not designed to be burned. Oil burns and smokes a lot. No telling what slick 50 would do to your engine. to me, it wouldnt be worth the risk. Just a thought.<br /><br />Suzuki40
Hey Dornoc<br /><br />Spend a few minutes reading this , a link given in a previous post.<br /><br />Add to this the fact above about burning (2-stroke marine oils have a flame-point that matches marine use to ensure it burns, just not until the lubing function has ended).<br /><br />Use your good intentions to keep your motor in top shape by good care and service. It'll serve you flawlesly for years.
Would it be a good idea to put some Slick 50 in the gas of a 50hp 1982 Johnson, If so how much? Thanks Dornoc
