Do you use any sealants for\with gaskets?

Hello,

I want to know if I should use any special sealant when I put new gaskets on my 1976 25HP Johnson.
For example:
1. Head gasket
2. Intake manifold gasket
3. Gasket between block and exhaust housing
4. Water pamp housing gasket

Is it neccessary or recomended or not needed?

If needed what is the right type of sealants?

I don't have a manual for your engine, but I don't think you need any sealer on any gaskets mentioned.

Manual would say for sure, but you'll probably need non-hardening gasket compound on all but the head gasket. Some head gaskets take sealer, some don't. If it has a shiny coating you don't need any.
