Dock Lines with Clips

My Bennington only has a cleat at the stearn, and an eye hook at the bow. I would like dock lines with clips at the end to hook to the eye hook, one from the front and one from the back that whoever is with me could jump out and clip, then I could tie it in with the cleat at the stearn.

Unfortunately I've not seen dock lines with clips. Has anyone seen them, or do I just take a dock line, find a clip with a hook end, feed the loop through the clip end then the dock line through the loop?

I should have specified that I did see the PWC lines, and wouldn't trust tjose plastic clips either. The DIY hooks are what I was looking at, so I guess I'm off to make my own today! Thanks!

Made my own today. Worked like a charm. I just put the loop through the eye of the hook and pulled the line through to snug it. Tied the dock lines to the cleats and clicked through the eye on my boat. That's something the wife can do easily when we're docking to help keep the boat in place while I tie the back in with the cleat.

DO NOT USE BRASS CLIPS!!! Yes I know all caps is yelling!

Brass clips can and will snap. If some one comes by a little to fast and throws a wake, you cound find you dock line becoming a missle and your boat no longer attaches to the dock.

Stick with stainless steel and the stongest one you can fit in your dock line and eye hook.

I used stainless rated far beyond my load. I'm also in a marina that is pretty well protected in a cove so wake shouldn't be bad. The back is tied off on a cleat instead of a clip, so little concerns on my part. I always over-engineer.
