Does a 74' Johnson 6hp have a T-Stat??

Does any body know if a 1974 Johnson 6hp has a thermostat??? I had another new thread goning related to this thread. I searched my manual and cannot find anything a bout a thermostat. Please look at the thread : got it cranked BUT no water coming out of exhaust... TY Fishermanms
