Does anyone in the iboat forum have any experiences on repairing and restoring a molded fiberglass boat? I have a boat that didn't have any brand and style. Fortunately there is a HIN tag on the back left of the transom that shows it is a 1976 MFG Co boat. When I looked it up, it is identical to a 1976 MFG Challenger 12 and Car Top Fisherman. What I wanted to do is restore it to original, with some modifications. The mods I wanted to put in are: navigational lights, anchor setup, fishing gear (viewfinder, pole holders, etc.) The boat itself is bare and doesn't have any of those requirements. I'm sure everyone would tell me to get a newer bigger boat, but I have a very low income and would like to work with what I have. I wanted to have a family fishing with my wife and 2 little boys. Any information is most appreciated.

Please dont post the same questions in multiple topics, the older topic of yours that you also posted about the 12ft MFG is still open, but the dupliacted info had been removed.

Jbcurt00, I understand. I thought the post wouldnt go thru. Thats why I posted it on the old post. I started a new post about finding more info and how-to on the mfg challenger boat, assuming anyone in the forum has actually worked on that brand before. As for the picture, its on the beginning of the old post of mine. Which one is actually posted for everyone to see?
