I use the Pennzoil 100%Synthetic Outboard Motor Oil(Walmart $27/gallon), it's very good but not the cheapest. If I had just bought a 1985 70HP Yamaha and it ran fine, I'd get a couple of quarts of Yamaha Ringfree and run a tank or two with the "deposit removal" dosage, and from then on run the "deposit prevention" dosage all the time. Get some Stabil Marine and use it all the time. Install a fuel/water separater type filter(Walmart $27). That's more information than you requested, but pretty good advice, I believe. Good Luck!

I don't really know about their oils since I don't use them, just the Ringfree. Hopefully somebody here will know about the 2S, 2W and 2R designations.
