Howdy Nathan.

If John's suggestions don't work, try Twin Cities Outboard in Minneapolis. They seem to have anything in old OB parts, they may have your fuel pump.

Red sky at night.. .
JB :)

I have the same motor. I found a fuel pump at my local dealer on the shelf. Cost around $60 Canadian. :)

If all else fails look at other motors that could work. On a friends 15hp Evinrude this wouldn't work but it may work on yours.

I needed to replace the fuel pump on my Mercury (just a simple vacumn pump). My 9.8 is a '70 model so the pump had been updated. It had 3 holes, 1 fuel ingress, 1 fuel egress and the vacumn source. It didn't mount to anything. This pump would work on anything with a vacumn hose. It wouldn't work on my friends Evinrude becuse the pump mounts directly to the block therefor there is no "vacumn hose". I could rig one if needed.

Good Luck,
Rob
